Terms
The terms for using Orbis and this website. This is a pre-release. Last updated .
Agreement
- The app asks you to accept these terms and the Privacy Policy before you use it. By clicking Accept, you agree to both.
- For this pilot the responsible party is the Orbis team; “we” on this page means the team.
Your projects
- Your projects and what you write in the app stay yours.
- You give Orbis permission to store, process and use the content that goes through Orbis services to run those services and to improve Orbis. Apart from that, these terms give us no rights over your content. With your own Claude Code or Codex account, Orbis receives nothing.
- What is stored and sent, and where content goes, is described in the Privacy Policy.
How we measure use
- We count downloads, installs and the copies of the app in use per day and version, without an identifier: the app's update check carries its version and, once a day, a daily mark. We keep only counts per day.
- This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and, while it is switched on, PostHog in the EU. PostHog keeps a cookie and records your visit only if you accept; you can change that choice on the Privacy Policy page.
The AI agent and its answers
- The chat runs through the agent you choose (Claude Code or Codex), signed in with your own account. That provider's terms apply to your use of it.
- Answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check them against the project before you rely on them, and review every change before it reaches a controller. You remain responsible for what you download to a PLC and for the safety of the machine it runs.
A pre-release
- Orbis is free during the beta. It is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
- Features can change or be removed while the product takes shape.
Changes to these terms
- When these terms change, the date above changes and the app asks you to accept them again before you continue.
