An AI assistant for Studio 5000 Logix Designer projects
Orbis is a Windows app that sits beside Studio 5000 Logix Designer. It is not a plug-in for Studio 5000 and it does not replace it: you open your project file in Orbis, work with an AI assistant there on a working copy, and export the result back to Studio 5000.
Which assistants
Section titled “Which assistants”Orbis runs the agent you already use:
- Claude Code, signed in with your Claude account.
- Codex, signed in with your ChatGPT account.
You choose the agent, the model and the effort level from the chat box. There is no Orbis account.
What the assistant can do in a project
Section titled “What the assistant can do in a project”- Answer questions about it and cite the rungs and tags it used. See Ask the agent.
- Edit a working copy of it. See Review changes.
Where your project goes
Section titled “Where your project goes”Orbis opens your project file on your PC. The agent you choose sends the conversation, including the project excerpts it read, to its provider under your account; Orbis does not receive it. Content that goes through Orbis services is kept by default. Read the privacy page before you open a sensitive project.
