## Is Orbis free?

Orbis is free during the beta. Pricing after the beta has not been decided.

## What do I need to run it?

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and a Claude Code or Codex account. See [Install Orbis](https://orbiscontrols.com/docs/install).

## Which projects does it open?

Studio 5000 Logix Designer projects for ControlLogix and CompactLogix, as `.L5X` or `.ACD` files.

## Where does my project go?

Orbis opens the file on your PC. The agent you choose sends the conversation, including the project excerpts it read, to its provider under your account: Anthropic for Claude Code, OpenAI for Codex. Orbis does not receive it. Content that goes through Orbis services passes through Orbis servers and is kept by default; full privacy, with your own API and service, is an enterprise plan. Read the [privacy page](https://orbiscontrols.com/privacy).

## Do I need an Orbis account?

No.

## Does it change my project file?

No. Changes go to a working copy that you review and export. See [Review changes](https://orbiscontrols.com/docs/review-changes).

## Is Orbis affiliated with Rockwell Automation?

No. Studio 5000 and Logix are trademarks of Rockwell Automation, Inc.
